Best Robot Vacuum and Mop With Self-Empting Bases
Self-emptying bases make robotic vacuums worth the price, especially for homes with a large footprint. This means that you don't have to empty the bin more than once every time you run. It keeps your floors cleaner and it runs more often.
Its Lidar navigation does an excellent job of mapping and you can also use the app to set zones and cleaning schedules. However, it couldn't get around obstacles like furniture legs as well as the j7 and Q Revo.
1. iRobot Combo J7+
The Combo J7+ is iRobot's first robot mop and vacuum. It is a re-imagining of the iRobot J7 robotic vacuum and adds a small reservoir of water, a robot arm that raises and lowers a mopping pad, and some new sensors. The result is an extremely efficient two-in-one cleaner that we discovered to be superior to non-mopping robotic vacuums.
The Combo J7+ does not include the features for smart mopping which our top pick has however, it is clean and well-maintained. It has a very efficient brush roll that works well on hard floors as well as carpeted rooms. It can easily get between furniture and rugs even on staircases that are steep. It has a strong suction, which we found impressive, although it's not as powerful as the Roomba's 694 from iRobot.
What sets the Combo j7+ apart from other robot vacuums is the mopping feature that utilizes the small, rotating brush to scrub the floor. iRobot calls it SmartScrub and it works by moving back and forth, resembling the way you scrub your floor with mop. It can be turned on on a room-by-room basis in the iRobot app.
The j7 Plus is easy to use and set up, just like other iRobot Robots. It's also easy to maintain. The water tank and the dust bin are both movable, which means they're easy to clean. The iRobot app lets you watch videos about how to maintain different elements of the machine, including replacing the mopping pads or cleaning the dust bin.
The only real drawback is that the iRobot Combo J7+ only mops if you have mopping pads attached and its 210 ml water tank is fully filled. It will only vacuum when one of these are not present. The iRobot App allows you to monitor the tank's water level and send alerts when it's low.

2. Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo is a reliable, budget-friendly robot that's great for mopping and vacuuming. Its mopping performance is particularly impressive, especially for the cost. It is effective on hard floors and carpets, picking up large and small pieces of debris (think hair tangles, or cat litter). It also does an excellent job cleaning dried spills and messes. It is also great to clean stairs and other areas that can easily get stuck.
The mopping system uses an elongated pad that rotates to scrub your floors using water to lift dirt and grime on stuck-on spots. The pad is also dried thoroughly by 45 minutes of warm air after each cleaning to avoid unpleasant odors and mold. You can easily control the robot with the Roborock app or use your voice to get your mopping going, change settings, and more.
Its vacuuming performance is top-notch as well. It has an impressive vacuum and a high-efficiency filter that is able to capture all types of debris, from small to large. The only drawback is that it's not as effective on carpet with pet hair. After two vacuuming sessions at maximum power 10 percent of pet hair was left on the surface. This is not something you've heard of.
The Q Revo is a great product, with its excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. It also has excellent cleaning and mopping capabilities. It's not as good as the higher-end robot vacuum and mop, but it is still an excellent choice for those who is on a budget. robot vacuum cleaner self emptying can also charge up to 30% quicker than previous versions, and it works with Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri Shortcuts. This is a lot of ease for not a whole lot of money. Take a look at our full review of the Roborock Q Revo to get more details and to determine whether it's the right choice for you.
3. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube is a vacuum mop robot that performs well and comes with great features at a very affordable price. Setup is a breeze and only took about five minutes. After taking off the tape for manufacturing and protective plastic, a quick scan of the QR code in the app starts you off. The app is easy to use and guides you through each step. Once configured the Cube is now ready to begin mapping and cleaning.
The app allows you to customise your home layout and design maps that the robot can follow. The app allows you to divide rooms into smaller sections to allow them to be targeted more specifically. For instance, you can create a map for the kitchen and another for the living room and let the robot vacuum the floors in each room at different times.
The Yeedi Cube is unique compared to other robots I've test. It has an industrial look. The base station has an edgier design than other robots, and has the dirty-water tank and autoempty feature on one end, and the vacuum on another. The reusable mop pad is also a separate piece, fitting into the top of the robot and affixed to an handle on the front to make it easy to remove and refilling.
The vacuum is as effective as any other robot I've examined, and it comes with two brushes on the sides instead of the single brush found on many models. This increases the vacuum's coverage area, and reduces the possibility of debris being lost behind walls and furniture. It isn't perfect in object recognition and is more likely to get into objects like the carpet with tassels in my office.
4. iRobot Braava Jet m6
The iRobot Braava Jet m6 robot mop is an excellent option for maintaining your flooring. It does a fantastic job and keeps them looking fantastic. It isn't able to vacuum like other hybrids and it can't move from hard flooring to carpets or rugs. However, with its long battery life and its smart mopping features, this machine is a great option for small and mid-sized houses.
It can be used in dry sweeping mode, too it can clean up to 1,000 square feet with one charge. It can also draw your floor plan using the iRobot App and clean rooms in a sequence by using compatible Roomba Vacuums.
In wet mopping, the m6 makes use of precision sprays to dampen the floors in straight lines. It's fascinating to observe and it was able to take on even the toughest dried-in juice and coffee stain on my floors. It can be set to use less water or more than the maximum amount set by the app.
The iRobot App is one of the most user-friendly applications on the market. It allows you to connect to your home WiFi. It comes with a variety of user-friendly features, such as scheduling, partitioning rooms, and defining no-go zones. This gives you complete control over the machine. It also allows you to determine how much battery power is left so that you get an accurate idea of how much time it's left before having to be recharged and docked. The m6 is on sale at My Robot Centre in the UK for PS499, the iRobot store in the US for $399, and on Amazon (where it's currently on sale). It's available in graphite and white.
5. Shark RV2610WA
The cost of robotic vacuum and mop cleaners is an issue. They are convenient, but they can also be expensive. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 robotic vacuum and mop with XLHEPA Self-Empty base which we tested, costs $699 or PS559, which is roughly $1054. If you do not want the charging base, it will still cost $549 / PS395 / roughly AU$675.
The Shark RV2610WA is a good choice for anyone who needs a robot that is able to tackle both mopping and vacuuming. It uses sonic mopping to scrub your floors 100 times per minute, and is capable of deep cleaning stubborn stains using its included stain-lifting solution. The app lets you schedule the machine to clean at a specific time and day. It also has a smart feature which allows you to control your robot when you're away.
The Shark vacuum cleaner is good at vacuuming and can take care of most debris. However, it's not as efficient on carpets. It's easy to trap pet hair in the brushroll, and the dirt compartment can become full quite quickly. It also has a variety of components that require regular maintenance and replacement, which can increase the cost over time.
For the price, there are better options on the market. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus offers superior performance on bare floors and carpets with a high pile. It's more sturdy and has a larger dust bin and can get over obstacles like electrical cords easily. The iRobot is more expensive, but it's well worth the extra expense if you require a multi-purpose cleaner that can do both jobs with ease.
